Once inside Wulingyuan, private vehicles are prohibited. You must use the park's eco-friendly shuttle buses (included in the ¥100 combo ticket) or walk. Tianmen Mountain is in the city and requires a separate trip. Chartering a car between scenic areas is recommended.

Comprising Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, Tianzi Mountain, Yuanjiajie, and Yangjiajie — four major scenic areas covering 369 km². Famous for its quartzite sandstone pillar landform with over 3,000 towering peaks. This is the real-life inspiration for the Hallelujah Mountains in Avatar.
Located in Zhangjiajie city proper, featuring the world's longest cable car (7.5 km total), Tianmen Cave (the world's highest natural arch through a mountain), and the famous "Heavenly Avenue" with 99 hairpin turns. The glass skywalk over the sea of clouds is both thrilling and stunning.
